To make it better, we are selling this amazing new silver LED light through the end of the year at the same price as the our original blue light. You can identify these new lights by their Silver color.
“New for Fall 2011”
Announcing our newly formulated Core and Finish which enables a wide spectrum of curing technology. Our products will now cure with UltraViolet or Safe Visible Blue light. You choose the light you want to use and Tuffleye provides the material with the price to impress you. You will be able to identify these dual curing materials by the new labels shown above. We, at Wet A Hook Technologies, do not encourage or recommend using UV light to tie flies.
“Introduced Fall 2010”
Announcing our new TUFFLEYETM PEN LIGHT with the same safe visible blue curing capability of the larger AC/DC light. This new light runs on 3 AAA batteries and clips in your shirt pocket. Great for the fishing trip and as a light to cure Tuffleye products. This light has come from the request of many of the Tuffleye users for a smaller more convenient and more economical light. It has taken several years of design and engineering to produce this very high quality pen light. Possibly the last pen light you will ever need to purchase. This little light can illuminate an entire room. Remember, visible blue light will not “night blind” your eyes to the dark like white light will.
Since Wet A Hook Technologies has become involved with the fly fishing industry, we have noticed that some coating products (used on the left) can chemically react with light cured acrylics and other paints/synthetic materials used by fly tiers. The above photo is an example of this “yellowing” or chemical reaction. We are happy to inform you that our new TOP COAT product (used on the right) has been formulated to remove those reactive chemicals and give you a beautiful and long lasting clear coat of acrylic to complement and protect your work without damaging chemical reactions. Top Coat dries fast and can be simply brushed on like the coating materials you currently use. Beta testers also noted that paints are less likely to smear or bleed with Top Coat. We also have a Thinner which can be added to the Top Coat and allows you to obtain the consistency that fits your needs the best.
